Today i think i finally finished my catalog for the stationery show, better late than never..I had many issues with indesign crashing and files becoming corrupt–don’t you hate that! seems like it always happens with the really important and frustrating files. I also made this illustration today.
First it’s sunny, then it’s raining, then it’s hot, and next it’s cold. Strawberry man doesn’t seem to mind the state of the weather so why should I?
Hey ya’ll. Well tonight i spent the evening sketching trying to come up with some fresh ideas. I basically just wanted to chill out and draw.
I can’t wait for tomorrow– Benji and i are going to the Three Potato Four barn sale! The barn sale takes place in an old textile Mill here in Philadelphia. Apparently the space is stocked with cool little collections of old stuff. Seems like there could be some potential home decor there. Maybe we’ll find something cool, but more importantly maybe we’ll find something useful for the house. I’m hoping it’ll be a nice excursion from the craziness that is home remodeling, well Benji is doing the crazy demo stuff, but still it’s craziness for me living in it heh.
So my adventures in photography are coming to an end(for now.) I decided to ditch the light box and indoor lighting and move to more relaxing, natural spot. Aside from getting dive bombed by robins and swarmed by ants, it worked out pretty well. Here’s a peek at my outdoor photo studio, heh.

I definitely want to do more shoots and figure out more about editing and just using the camera in general. For now, I’ll just relax(-:
